Pause and resume every recording target

Pause or resume any region, window, or full-screen MP4 or GIF recording from the floating control or Record menu. Stop remains available while paused, and elapsed time excludes paused intervals.

Optional MP4 audio controls

MP4 recording can include optional system audio and optional microphone audio on macOS 15 or later, while GIF recording remains silent.

GIF Review & Editor

Review GIF captures before export with frame timing edits, move and reorder controls, duplicate, delete, and still-frame insertion.

Main-window recording review

Review MP4 video and audio in the main OneMark Capture window, and use File > Review Recording to reopen existing MP4 or GIF recordings.

Clearer and safer region recording

Region recording now shows a dimmed outside area and a visible boundary, improves quit finalization, and makes global Capture Region shortcuts more reliable.

App Store Share Studio compositions

Build iPhone, iPad, and Mac App Store compositions with accepted-size presets, adaptive Brand & Copy, light and dark themes, and opaque PNG output with no alpha.

Version 2.0

Previous Mac App Store release

OneMark Capture 2.0 expanded the fast screenshot loop with multi-capture grids, a private local library, review-first Visual Privacy, reusable Share Studio presets, richer project persistence, and repeatable foreground automation.

  • Capture Grid layouts up to 3 x 3: Choose 1 x 1 through 3 x 3 layouts, send incoming captures to the next open pane, pick an explicit pane, and swap panes as your explanation changes.
  • Persistent local Capture Library: Keep private local thumbnails with source, date, size, optional OCR summary, and optional linked project metadata for captures you want to reuse later.
  • Visual Privacy review candidates: Review on-device Visual Privacy face candidates alongside sensitive-text suggestions before applying solid redactions.
  • Share Studio named presets: Save named app-level presets, use bounded logo storage, and preserve concrete Share Studio compositions and logo choices in .onemark projects.
  • Foreground Shortcuts and Siri automation: Run capture, OCR, text copy, AI Handoff, export, and project bookmark workflows through foreground Shortcuts and Siri actions.
  • Default post-capture clipboard copy: Accepted captures can copy flattened output by default, making quick paste workflows faster while keeping output choices visible.
  • Output and logo bounds: Safer output allocation and bounded saved-logo storage reduce runaway export and asset sizes.
  • Accessibility label improvements: Image buttons and related controls have clearer labels for assistive technology.
  • Editable projects preserve more state: Self-contained .onemark projects can persist Capture Grid layouts, OCR review state, Handoff prompt text, and Share Studio composition state.
  • Local-first privacy preflight: App Store privacy language now explicitly covers Capture Library contents, grid pane contents, Share Studio presets, saved logos, projects, OCR, and handoff bundles.
  • Flattened output: Copy a default PNG, use the native share sheet, drag an output file, or export PNG/JPEG with scale and background options.
  • OneMark Capture supports macOS 14 or later.
  • Shortcuts and Siri actions open OneMark Capture in the foreground and route through the same visible editor workflow.
  • Capture History remains session-local; Capture Library is persistent, private, and stored locally on the Mac.
  • Share Studio presets are app-level, while concrete compositions and selected logos can be saved into .onemark projects.
  • OneMark Capture does not upload screenshots, OCR text, redacted exports, AI Handoff bundles, Capture Library contents, or editable project files.
